RSS sevaks rush to help family of COVID affected patient who died while travelling from Gujarat to Kolkata

Pune, April 30: Strongest are those who make time to help the society in need. While the state of Maharashtra is struggling amidst the COVID-19 second wave, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is on ground voluntarily to coordinate and help the government, the society. Here is one such story that morals the cause giving a message of 'support to society' in pandemic.

It is on April 28 that a family of four from Bharuch, Gujarat was travelling to Kolkata. But unfortunately, the COVID positive head of the family breathed his last at around Nandurbar and his stiff had to be taken down at Nandurbar station. While the rest of the family was not at all stable to decide about what next, the RSS workers from Nandurbar came to their help.
 
 
 
 
The RSS network from Devgiri and Kolkata contacted the RSS Jankalyan Samiti authority Shri Girish Badgujar who immediately directed the RSS sevaks to look into the matter. The sevaks, after being of consolation to the family members, contacted some relatives of deceased in proximity who informed that it would at least take them 10 hours to reach Nandurbar.
 
 
At such times, the RSS workers took over the task of cremating the deceased after taking the necessary permission from the authorities and the family. The family was then sent to its home town the next day. The selfless work of RSS volunteers during natural disaster is unparalleled.
